Gelato Made in Indy, by Italians!

Mammamia Gelato owners Lucio Romani and Stefano Gangitano are Italian natives, and bring the authentic tastes of Rome to everything they do. Lucio also owns Ristorante Roma and serves there as the executive chef. He and Stefano have meticulously recreated the ambiance of a real Italian Gelateria.

We make our gelato on site every morning with the finest and freshest ingredients imported from our homeland in Italy. We mix nut butters and infuse flowers, we combine cream, milk and sugar to achieve the smoothness needed to serve you the best gelato this side of the Atlantic!

We use fresh seasonal fruit for all of our sorbets and all of our flavors are gluten-free. Our fruit flavors are vegan-friendly and lactose-free as well.

Our recipes come from the great Italian tradition of gelato making and reflect our food philosophy:ย fresh, simple, high quality ingredients crafted by hand.
